The little red Toasters pay tribute to the music of the old masters, bothsides of the trodden paths of traditional bluesbands. Often mixed with a good shot of soul sometimes swinging but always “true to the way it was”. They arouse a raving fireworks of hot beats and virtuoso playing, it’s no surprise, that the sparks start flying.
Because Live it’s real!!
But watch out – once your ears have been roasted by the Toasters, you’ll feel the heat and never turn back. Those who want to enjoy that good old sound in the comfort of their own home can simply “take a “slice” of the concert with them. “Toasted” –their new CD has been selling at their gigs throughout Germany like hotcakes – well, like hot toast!
Martin Schroer is the voice of the band and responsible the the Toasters´ bluesy note and creating a good time atmosphere. He´s known in the bluesscene through an uncountable amount of sessions and has jammed with the greats such as Nippy Noya and many other well known musicians. The bass notes of Hermann Gauss spark the bluesmachine – without protection and at his own risk! Together with drummer Marco Niemann he´s the pulse of the band and keeps the wires glowing! The new addition to the band is Kai Warszus on keyboard, who gives the sound a last sprinkling and spice.
So come down to the next concert and get “toasted”!!!!!!!!!!
